The water is a symbol of purity and birth. We are immersed in liquid during the gestation period, to be feed and nurtured by our mother. Birth is coming out of that liquid into the “solid” world. We also use water to baptise, heal, purify, clean and bless. Our body is also made of a big percentage of water. This piece celebrates the birth, the debut, the baptism, the cleansing and elevation into a new state, though rising from the water.
